    tablespoon butter

  • 1 1/4

    pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 3

    cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets

  • 1

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1/2

    cup reduced fat (2%) milk

  • 1/2

    cup shredded Cheddar cheese

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook until well browned, stirring often.

Step 2

Stir the broccoli, soup and milk in the skillet.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.  Sprinkle with the cheese.

    Easy to make!

    I love this recipe because it works for my busy family and busy life. I added salt and pepper to taste and I added just a little bit more cheese because my family LOVES cheese! But this recipe saved my day!! Definitely will make again!

    Good, but made my own adjustments

    I used fresh broccoli and Campbells broccoli/cheese soup. I also topped it with bread crumbs and melted butter. It just gives it a little more flavor and texture.

    Good idea; poor execution

    I do not care for fried chicken; I always bake batches of chicken breasts and chop it up for any recipe that calls for pan fried chicken. I never seem to have cream of chicken so I used cream of broccoli instead. I also used fresh broccoli and it was a bit undercooked for my preschooler and toddler to eat.

    Just needs a kick

    When I make this I add a little curry powder to make it more of a traditional chicken divan and give it the little kick it needs so it isn't so bland.

    Great - with a little kick!

    I made this for my hubby. As a last minute addition- I threw in some fried onions. It added that special little kick that gave it some crunch and texture.
