tablespoons vegetable oil
small onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
package (7 ounces) uncooked fideo (Spanish pasta)
can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Tomato Soup
can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Broth
cups (2 soup cans) water
clove garlic, minced
dash each saltand ground black pepper
Heat the oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes. Add the fideo and cook for 5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring often to coat with the oil.
Stir in the soup, broth, water and garlic. Season with the salt and black pepper. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the fideo is tender.
