How to Make It

Step 1

Cook the rice according to the package directions.  While the rice is cooking, season the chicken as desired.  Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes on one side, then turn and cook another 3 minutes or until well browned (to prevent sticking- make sure the skillet and oil are hot before adding the chicken).  Remove the chicken from the skillet.

Step 2

Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil in the skillet over medium heat.  Add the broccoli and garlic and cook and stir for 1 minute.  Add the soup, water, soy sauce and ginger and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Return the chicken to the skillet.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.  Season to taste.

Step 3

Serve the chicken and broccoli mixture over the rice.

    This recipe sounds wonderful.

Even with the couple of bad reviews, this sounds so good I'm making it tonight for dinner - only woth cream of mushroom which I use for everything!

    Asian Chicken Skillet

This dish was disgusting. I gagged when I ate it. It was very bland as described by many others. I don't know if it was the cream in the Chicken Soup or what. Although it was quick and easy to make, thats the way it tasted. Like some sort of TV dinner. I won't be making this again.

    Asian Chicken Skillet

I wanted to make something different for dinner and also really really didn't want to go to the store. I stumbled across this recipe and figured I'd try it since I had all the ingredients and it sounded good. It was very good and tasty too. I love the soy sauce flavor it has. I used canned green beans instead of frozen and it still tasted really good. Will diffidently make it again.

    Asian Chicken Skillet

While I loved the dish, my husband just liked the chicken. The green beans weren't exactly what we were used to eating, but the flavor of the dish was amazing.

    Asian Chicken Skillet

This, unfortunately, was not very tasty. It lacked any flavor despite smelling very good. Im not sure what I could add to liven it up considering I added a LOT of seasoning.
