tablespoon vegetable oil
medium onion, diced (about 1/2 cup)
pound ground beef, turkey or chicken
tablespoon chili powder
teaspoon ground cumin
teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
cup Swanson® Beef Broth or Swanson® Beef Stock
dash ground black pepper
taco shellor 8-inch flour tortillas, warmed
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Add the beef to the skillet and cook until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
Stir the chili powder, cumin, oregano and broth in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Season with the black pepper. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Spoon the beef mixture into the taco shells.
