    The Best Sloppy Joe's Ever!

This is a family favorite. I cut the soup to 3/4 a can and add a teaspoon of worcheshire sauce. You can also add minced onion and green peppers and it is delicious. This is a great party recipe because it's easy to make a large quantity and very tasty!! It is also a great leftover food.

My grandmothers Campbells recipe from 1954...

Make the same recipe as above, just add 1/2 tsp of Brown Sugar...3/4 tsp of wht Vinegar...and 1/4 C of fine diced wht or yellow onions. Note: Cook the Ground Beef, drain the oil and Saute the onions for about 2-3 minutes with the Ground Beef. Once Grd Beef & Onions are done add all the other ingredients...Simmer for 15 minutes...Serve. This is the recipe my mother got from her mother. This is what we love. If you do not like onions, don't add any... Or replace diced onions with a tsp of granulated Onion powder...and don't tell anyone.

Sub. Chicken Gumbo Soup for Tomato Soup

I remember my Aunt making Sloppy Burgers. But I didn't remember adding the catsup or how much mustard. This is a change from the Regular Sloppy Joes. Haven't made it since the twins were in Grade School, just a few yrs ago, LOL

    Back to School Sloppy Joes

This recipe was just right! Not too much spice. It is also a good foundation recipe if you'd like to add various other flavours such as onion, pepper, etc.
