This slowly baked chicken dish is full of great flavor.  It has just 4 ingredients and takes only takes 15 minutes to put together...when you pop it in the oven, you've got two hours to attend to other things.

    cup sour cream

  • 8

    slices bacon

  • 2 1/2

    pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 8)

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 275°F.  Stir the soup and sour cream in a medium bowl.

Step 2

Wrap 1 slice bacon around each chicken breast half.  Place the chicken into an 11x8x2-inch baking dish. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.

Step 3

Bake for 2 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.

    very good

    I had a recipe close to this years ago. I coated he pan with olive or butter spray layered a 13 x 9 pan with sliced ham, them put the bacon wraped chicken over top. I used 2 cans of Cream of chicken soup, along with about 1 cup of water. Mixed the soup and water together and poured over the ham and chicken. baked the same for 2 hours. Served over rice. The bacon and ham, excellent together. My family loved it.

    Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

    I used 2 cans soup, baked the (8) 4 oz. pcs in a 13"x9" dish, and they were done in 2 hours. My husband really likes this dish! -Lori in WI.

    My family really liked this. I tried it because my family loves chicken but you get bored with making it the same way over and over again. It was good! Try it!
