    pound 85% lean ground beef

  • 1 3/4

    cups Swanson® Aseptic Vegetable Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Vegetable Broth

  • 1

    tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2

    teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed

  • 1/2

    teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1

    can (about 8 ounces) stewed tomatoes

  • 1 1/2

    cups uncooked rotini (spiral) pastaor medium tube-shaped (penne) pasta

How to Make It

Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to break up the meat. Pour off any fat. Stir the broth, Worcestershire, oregano, garlic and tomatoes in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir in the rotini. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often. Uncover. Cook for 5 minutes or until the rotini is tender.

    sub noodle for rice

    i substitute noodles for rice and put different meats and veggies it comes out great every time. my husband love it. i had the recipe printed out and lost it. search for a hour looking for it again. forgot where i got it from. won't lose it a agan.

    Easy to Keep Ingredients on Hand

    Whenever I have a busy day, I like to keep these ingredients in the cupboard that way I can make an easy filling meal for the family that isn't so processed. Love it, it's quick, and no one complains!

    Love this!

    We are a pasta family and love to eat all kinds of pasta; however, after the birth of our now 2 month old and breastfeeding, my pasta days were becoming numbered. I couldn't have a lot of garlic, I couldn't eat tomato sauce or hardly anything tomato due to the baby getting colicky. So, I searched and searched for recipes and came across this and thought I can totally not eat the tomatoes and still enjoy a nice pasta. It was great, even the hubby enjoyed and wanted me to make again! All in all, this is a great recipe, very easy to make and saved me from lack of pasta depression :)

    This recipe was very easy and good!
