Recipe Tips

  • For Creamy Mexican Fiesta Skillet, stir in 1/2 cup sour cream with the soup.
  • For Ranchero-Style Skillet, use corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas and shredded Mexican cheese blend instead of Cheddar.
  • Serve with a mixed green salad with Italian salad dressing and corn on the cob. For dessert serve a store-bought flan.

    Delicous

I was trying to decide what to make for dinner and had just bought some of thr soup called for in the recipe, so I decided on this. I am vegetarian so I made with vege burger and also added some corn and sliced olives. It is very yummy.

    Beef Taco Skillet

I made this vegetarian by using soy crumbles and added some frozen corn and fresh jalapeno and onion. It was wonderful!

    Easy and quick

Added 1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper to give it a little more flavor. My family loved it.

Will add more to it next time

This was alright. I used homemade salsa instead of Picante, and it needed more punch in spice and more fresh things to round it out. But, for a fast weeknight meal, this is pretty good.
