How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the broth in a 12-inch skillet over high heat to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 2 minutes. Add the butter.

Step 2

Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes or until the liquid is slightly reduced and the asparagus is tender-crisp.  Season to taste.

    Pretty basic and easy. Used 4 tablespoons of butter, and used homemade chicken stock. It turned out just fine, little buttery taste to asparagus. Made it as a side with scalloped potatoes and steaks. Good meal.
