How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 400°F.

Step 2

Roll the dough into a 14-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Place the dough on a greased baking sheet.

Step 3

Spread the sauce over half of the dough to within 1-inch of the edge. Top with the cheese. Fold the dough in half over the filling. Crimp the edges to seal.

Step 4

Bake for 20 minutes or until it's golden. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with additional sauce.

    Try using pizza sauce and sliced, canned mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese for a Calzone that tastes like a mushroom pizza ! Delish !!! Sylvia H.

    This was a very easy meal to make. It didn't have much for a flavor and the kids really didn't like it. Not something I would make again.
