tablespoons vegetable oil
large clove garlic, minced
cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Vegetable Broth
teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
ounces uncooked capellini (angel hair) pasta
package (16 ounces) frozen broccoli florets
teaspoon ground black pepper
cup grated Parmesan cheese
Heat the oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring often. Stir the broth and thyme in the saucepan and heat to a boil.
Stir the capellini, broccoli, salt and pepper in the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes, or until capellini and broccoli are tender. Stir in the cheese just before serving.
Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and black pepper, if desired.
