Green chiles, french fried onions and ground red pepper give this luscious corn casserole a little kick...but don't worry - the cheesy sauce controls the heat and leaves you with nothing but great flavor.
cost per recipe: $7.33
The price is determined by the national average.
can (10 1/2ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
cup milk
tablespoon butter, melted
dash ground red pepper
bag (16 ounces) frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chiles
can (2.8 ounces) French fried onions (about 1 1/3 cups)
Heat the oven to 350°F. Stir the soup, milk, butter, pepper, corn, chiles and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the corn mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the corn mixture. Sprinkle the remaining onions over the corn mixture.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

This corn casserole is super tasty, and it has just the right amount of heat from the green chilis. I will definitely make this recipe again. It's easy to make, bakes quickly, and has a nice creamy and crunchy texture (thanks to the fried onion topping).

Tasted fabulous! I rarely post a review if I strayed from the recipe, but I'm going to post anyway. Didn't have frozen corn so used (2) 15oz cans of corn. Didn't have green chiles, so I used half can of Rotel original. Wanted to use up the can of Campbell's Fiesta Nacho Cheese, so that went in, along with 1/4 cup half & half. Fried onions on top, and viola, good eats. Paired this with chicken enchiladas without the tortillas (count this corn casserole as the starch) and a fresh simple salad with ripe tomatoes. Quick and easy and everybody loved it.

I made this for my holiday potluck at work and by the time I went down to get some food for myself it was already gone!!! Will definitely make again especially for potluck type events. My try to use hatch chile and/or crumbled bacon....

I am making this again to take to church. This is my go to for any kind of gathering or potluck. I enjoy taking this because it is something different and is always gone. I use 2 cans of canned corn instead of frozen. This works just fine. I will be making this again and again!!!
