Recipe Tips

  • Ingredient Note: We develop our recipes using a 4-to 5-ounce skinless, boneless chicken breast half per serving. However, there are a range of sizes available in-store, from the butcher counter to the meat case and the freezer section. Use whichever you prefer- just follow the recipe as written above for the best result. If you're using larger chicken breasts they may require a little longer cooking time.
  • Serving Suggestion: This recipe is great served over hot cooked rice.

    Quick, easy & very tasty

I have a larger family. It is nearly impossible to find a recipe that everyone loves. This one is the exception. The whole family loves it! (Yay) Plus it is super easy to make. So this recipe will be made quite often.

    Good for a family

This is a standard chicken and cream recipe with just a hint of fire from the green chilis. A good dish to serve if you're not sure of your guests' tolerance for spice.

    Very good!

I added in a little bit of scallions at the end, and I chose Cajun seasoning over the creole because of the slight differences in the pepper, I assumed that Cajun would taste better. I was right, it did work well. I had a little sauce left over, so I used it for enchilada sauce the next day for our lunches. Even with the taste of the seasoning still there, it doubled as Mexican the next day, so that's definitely a plus :)

    Amazing!

I've made this twice before and can never get enough. This time I am doubling the ingredients for the sauce because it's just that good!

    Delightful Change

I made this meal for my boyfriend and myself the other night. It didn't take long. I made a few additions to the recipe adding in some garlic powder to the sauce. It came out amazing. Such a nice meal with a unique flavor. Definitely added that change I was wanting from our weekly dinner routine. I will make it again. Served over rice as pictured. I also made hushpuppies as the side since it is kind of cajun :) Love it. Adding this to the monthly meal chart!
