pound chorizo sausageor Italian pork sausage, casing removed
medium onion, coarsely chopped (about 3/4 cup)
bag (about 32 ounces) hash brown potatoes
can (about 4 ounces) chopped green chiles
jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce
Heat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the sausage in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat for 4 minutes or until browned, stirring often to separate meat. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook for 4 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir the onion, sausage, potatoes, chiles and cheese sauce in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until hot and bubbling and the potatoes are tender.
