How to Make It

Stir the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Layer the ingredients in the following order in a 1-quart glass jar: flour mixture, walnuts, 1/2 cup chocolate pieces, oats, remaining chocolate pieces, raisins and brown sugar. Close the jar.  Attach the Baking Directions to the jar. Heat the oven to 350°F.  Lightly grease 4 baking sheets. Beat the butter, egg and vanilla extract in a large bowl with an electric mixture on medium-high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Reduce the speed to low.  Beat in the Cookie Mix.  Shape the dough into 48 (1-inch) balls.  Place the balls onto the baking sheets.
Bake for 8 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned.  Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets on wire racks for 10 minutes.  Remove the cookies from the baking sheets and let cool completely on wire racks.
