  • 1 1/4

    pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 4 breast halves)

  • 4

    slices deli mozzarella cheese (about 3 ounces)

  • 4

    slices deli Virginia ham(about 3 ounces)

  • 8

    slices bacon

  • 1

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • 1

    container (8 ounces) sour cream

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 375°F.

Step 2

Top each chicken breast half with 1 slice cheese and 1 slice ham.  Wrap 2 slices bacon around each and secure with toothpicks.  Place the chicken into a 2-quart shallow baking dish.

Step 3

Stir the soup and sour cream in a medium bowl until the mixture is smooth.  Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.  Cover the baking dish.

Step 4

Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

    Can't believe something easy tasted so good!

    Highly recommend this dish. However, try it in the oven for about 60 minutes vs. 45 minutes, especially if you choose thicker chicken breasts. After plating the chicken, I spooned some of the remaining mixture over the tops of the chicken to add even more flavor/sort of a gravy. Additionally, prior to baking, I topped the entire pan with plain breadcrumbs. I will be making this again and again!

    Easy and Yummy

    The only thing I would change about this recipe is using fully cooked bacon or partially cooking the bacon first other than that I would not change a thing and my whole family loved it

    Extremly easy

    Took a bit longer to bake than called for but flavor was overall good. simple, easy way to get dinner on the table.

    Fantastic!

    This recipe is absolutely delicious!!! The chicken is incredibly moist and flavorful, and the sauce is wonderful served over rice or mashed potatoes. Since I am not a fan of undercooked or limp bacon, I did use Oscar Mayer's "fully cooked" bacon instead of regular bacon. It added all of the flavor and probably reduced the amount of grease that ended up in the sauce -- SCORE!! I would also like to note that this is a great recipe to take to someone's home if they've had a baby or surgery. You can put it all together and deliver it, and they can bake it off whenever they are ready for dinner.

    the chicken was good but....

    The bacon wasn't cooked all the way in the oven and the chicken breast couldn't of been in quarters doesn't really need the bacon but pretty good will add an extra can of cream of mushroom soup
