    tablespoon vegetable oil

    pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 1

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1/2

    cup water

  • 1

    tablespoon coarse-grain Dijon-style mustard

  • 1

    tablespoon dry white wine

  • 1

    teaspoon dried parsley flakes

  • 1

    teaspoon packed brown sugar

  • 1/2

    teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4

    teaspoon dried tarragon leaves, crushed

  • 1/8

    teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides.

Step 2

Stir the soup, water, mustard, wine, parsley, brown sugar, onion powder, tarragon and garlic powder in the skillet and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with a white and wild rice blend and steamed whole green beans. For dessert serve Pepperidge Farm® Cherry Turnovers.

    Delicious

    This is so easy to make and tastes wonderful. None of the flavors is over powering. It goes so well with rice.

    my picky 6 year old eats it!

    Very tasty, extremely easy to make. My six year old who isn't always very adventurous when it comes to eating new stuff loved it. Have made it about once a week since we discovered this recipe.

    Creamy Chicken Dijon

    I made this recipe years ago (from a Campbell's Cookbook), and was delighted to find it again. Simple quick and wonderful. The best part is, that one can use either dark or white meat chicken. With white meat, I like to brown the meat first, then add a little broth, cover and bring to a boil, and turn the heat off WITHOUT lifting the lid (as it cools, the pan acts like a pressure cooker.. The meat softens and absorbs all the juices). The sauce is a wonderful combination of seasonings. Thank for another winner recipe... it's a "please-all"!

    Creamy Chicken Dijon

    I love this recipe. Its amazing how very few ingredients can produce such a wonderful and flavorful dish... not to mention healthy especially when you use Low Fat Cream of Chicken Soup! I think the tarragon gives that special touch to this dish. It is one of my favorite dishes to make when I want to make something quick, yet delicious during the week! This will be the next dish the next time I have my friend over for dinner!

    Creamy Chicken Dijon

    I'm really hard to please when it comes to making dinner, I absolutely loved this! I doubled up the spices and wine because I love flavor. My husband even commented "Man, this is good!" This will be one of my go-to's! It's super yum, super easy, super fast, what more could you ask for?!
