How to Make It

Step 1

Stir the flour, salt and black pepper on a plate.  Coat the chicken with the flour mixture.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken in batches and cook for 10 minutes or until browned on both sides and cooked through.  Remove the chicken from the skillet, cover and keep warm.

Step 3

Stir the lemon juice, wine and capers in the skillet.  Cook for 5 minutes, stirring to scrape the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.  Stir in the sauce and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Serve the sauce mixture with the chicken and penne.

    What a relief!!

I made a great Piccata without all the fuss of making it from scratch. Thanks Campbell's.

    was a little disappointed

The taste of this dish was very good, but the chicken when cooked until done was tough and hard to cut. I think I prefer chicken baked in the oven, but I would give this one more try.

Delicious and easy in a pinch!

I normally make my alfredo from scratch and I also normally make regular chicken piccata from scratch. My wife loves both! She was headed home from work one night at 6 and I had already planned to order out as we'd both worked all day and I had just gotten home. She called to let me know she invited a friend for dinner last minute. In a panic, I remembered I had gotten a jar of this alfredo sauce for free with a coupon and decided to check out this website for recipes. I had all ingredients for this son decided to give it a shot. I'm sooo glad I did....the wife and guest didn't even know it was from a jar and cleaned their plates with smiles on their faces! The only change I made was to grill the chicken and slice each breast into thin strips before serving.I will definitely be making this again and again!
