Instant mashed potatoes makes this dish a breeze...sour cream, Cheddar cheese and a touch of garlic makes it delicious!

    cups prepared Idahoan mashed potatoes, warmed

  • 1

    cup sour cream

  • 1/4

    cup milk

  • 1/4

    teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 1/3

    cups French's® French Fried Onions(Original or Cheddar)

    cup shredded Cheddar cheese(about 4 ounces)

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 350ºF.  Stir the potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in a medium bowl.

Step 2

Spoon half the potato mixture into a 2-quart casserole.  Sprinkle with half the onions and half the cheese. Top with the remaining potato mixture.

Step 3

Bake for 30 minutes or until the potato mixture is hot.  Top with the remaining onions and cheese.

Step 4

Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
