I’ve been making this for a long time and my family loves it. I use about half the brown sugar but I just like things a little less sweet. The reviewer who suggested making homemade teriyaki sauce doesn’t understand the concept of “keep it simple”. This is a very simple and good recipe.

I tried this recipe on a whim and was very happy with it. My wife and children all raved about it. It was really easy to make--something especially desirable on a school night--and was significantly better and fresher-tasting than takeout. I might try a different vegetable mix next time, as the fam tends to favor broccoli over the peppers and water chestnuts in the stir fry veggie mix I used. I highly recommend trying this.

I love to cook and spend a lot of time pouring over recipes and making Rachael Ray meals and Food Network meals. I couldn't eat this. I make a much better teriyaki sauce using brown sugar, soy sauce, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, cold water, corn starch cider vinegar and a few other things. The glaze you get on the chicken is to die for. Sorry Campbels...this is not good and for people who want a quick easy meal. I like to produce good food with quality ingredients!
