    medium potato, peeled and cut into cubes (about 5 cups)

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Onion Soup

  • 1

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Celery Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Celery Soup

  • 1

    can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

  • 2

    tablespoons butter

  • 1/2

    cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 4

    teaspoons bacon bits

How to Make It

Place the potatoes into a 3-quart saucepan and add water to cover.  Heat over medium-high heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cook until the potatoes are tender. Do not drain. Stir the onion soup, celery soup, evaporated milk and butter in the saucepan.  Cook for 15 minutes.  Serve the soup with the cheese and bacon bits, if desired.

    Delicious!

    I changed it up a bit and used real bacon, whole milk, and a box of Betty Crocker Julienne potatoes with the packet of cheese sauce mix (instead of the cheddar cheese), along with the cream of celery soup and butter. It turned out amazing! I would definitely make this hearty soup again and again! So easy!

    Easy and a crowd pleaser!

    My whole whole family loves this! Throw this and some cornbread on the stove and you have an awesome dinner.

    I used frozen hashbrowns and it was ready in 10 minutes!!

    Such an easy and fast and YUMMY recipe. I made a few changes. I used frozen potatoes (like the O'Brien hashbrowns). I used the whole bag added water to potato line and boiled till soft. I left the water in and added the other ingredients. I couldn't find Cream of Onion so I substituted Cream of Potato. It was ready in like 10 minutes...YUM!

    not good

    This soup tasted like potato water. Very disappointed. I added some garlic powder that I use in a base recipe for broccolli and cauliflower soup, but it didn't help. Also used real bacon instead of bacon bits.
