    pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

    tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 1/2

    cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce

  • 1/4

    cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 1/2

    cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)

How to Make It

Step 1

Season the chicken as desired.  Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides.

Step 2

Stir the sauce and 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese in the skillet.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 3

Sprinkle with the mozzarella and remaining Parmesan cheese.  Let stand for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Recipe Tips

  • Serving Suggestion: Serve an iceberg lettuce salad with red wine vinaigrette. For dessert serve your favorite frozen yogurt.

    It just needs a little help!

    Campbells recipes rarely have very much seasoning added to them. I'm not really sure why that is. I seasoned my chicken breasts and drizzled some olive oil over them and then I dredged them in Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. I added seasoning to the spaghetti sauce, and I also sautéed onions and fresh garlic in the skillet before I added the chicken breast to brown. Everything else I did pretty much the same and it was really really good.

    It was Okay, try this........ Super Easy!

    Use regular Shake 'N Bake, Italian season. Follow directions on package. 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through the baking process, spoon Prego sauce over breaded, boneless, skinless chicken halves. A few minutes prior to finish time, turn oven off and place slices or shredded cheese(s) (your favorite) on top of chicken halves, melt and serve. Tips: Use Broiler after adding cheese if you prefer your cheese browned such as with pizza. Use Enchilada sauce rather than Prego and Shredded Mexican taco pizza cheese - Chicken Mex

    easy ingredients. will do again.

    Very easy to put together and fast. I cut the chicken in pieces, mixed it with some spaghetti and added more sauce and cheese. Everybody loved it. Gave it a different taste than regular spaghetti.

    Simple Idea

    This was a quick and easy meal to prepare and cook though it was not as tasty as we would have liked will try it again using a three blend cheese and a different sauce the chicken needs something more it was a bit bland
