jar (16 ounces) Pace® Chunky Salsa or Pace® Original Picante Sauce Medium
teaspoons chili powder
package (about 9 ounces) tortilla chips
cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend (about 8 ounces)
Set the oven to 350°F.
Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the salsa, cumin and chili powder and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste.
Arrange the tortilla chips on a rimmed baking sheet (For easy cleanup, line the baking sheet with foil first). Top with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Top the baked nachos with your favorite nacho toppings, like salsa, sliced jalapeño peppers, black olives, refried beans, guacamole and/or sour cream.
