can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
dash black pepper
cup chopped red bell pepper
cups cooked cut green beans
cups French's® French Fried Onions
Stir the soup, milk, black pepper, red pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

I made this for a side dish thinking it would be a nice twist on the traditional green been casserole. Well, it was a twist. My son described it as a Chinese green bean casserole as in it tasted like a dish that may be served at a Chinese restaurant. I thought that the red peppers overpowered the other flavors and I missed the creaminess of the cream of mushroom soup. As long as you aren’t expecting a dish to taste much like the original version, this may be casserole for you!
We're sorry this version of Green Bean Casserole wasn't what you expected. Our Golden Mushroom Soup is quite different from our regular Cream of Mushroom. Instead of a cream/dairy base, Golden Mushroom is made with beef broth and tomato paste, imparting quite a different taste and texture. I love this recipes. It does not have a lot of items that you have to come up with. These are things that you have in your cupboard or refrigerator. Very simple to put together and bake. It was delicious. I have 3 vegeterians and for Thanksgiving they love the side dishes with lots of flavor. They ate 4 serving of this recipe. It makes up that they can not eat turkey.
