Just when you thought chicken Parmesan couldn’t get any better, we’ve made it easier and more delicious.  Using refrigerated breaded chicken cutlets is a great time-saver, especially for busy weeknights.  And a simple slice of ham adds another layer of flavor to an already great dish.

    cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or Prego® Tomato Basil Garlic Italian Sauce

    refrigerated breaded chicken cutlet (about 12 ounces), cooked according to package directions

    slices   deli ham

  • 1

    cup  shredded mozzarella cheese  (about 4 ounces)

    tablespoons Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 425°F.  Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.  Spray the foil with vegetable cooking spray.

Step 2

Place the chicken cutlets onto the baking sheet.  Spoon 2 tablespoons sauce onto each chicken cutlet. Top each with 1 slice ham and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.

Step 3

Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is hot and the cheese is melted.

Step 4

While the chicken is baking, heat the remaining sauce in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until hot.  Serve with the chicken.
