How to Make It

Step 1

Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat.  Pour off any fat.  Stir the soup in the skillet.

Step 2

Unroll 1 package crescent roll dough and press on the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.  Press the seams to seal.  Layer half the beef mixture and half the cheese in the pie plate.  Repeat the layers.  Unroll the remaining dough.  Place the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal, if desired.

Step 3

Bake at 350°F. for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

    Easy and Delicious

Reading the reviews helped. I used the already made pie crust because I didn't want the bottom part of the pie to be half cooked. I cooked it a little longer than the time called for but I used the broiler to brown it on top. Surprised that my guys loved it. I added mushrooms and onions. Next time I will try with cream of potato soup to add to the flavors. I'm not a cook so this was a big deal for me to have them love my new recipe. Took me about 15 minutes to get it to the oven.

    a few tips

if you decide to make this I would pre bake the bottom pie crust a bit and then add the filling and the top. we add sautéed mushrooms to the pie.

    Easy and delicious

I ADVISE ANYONE making this to cook the bottom crust for at least 5 minutes before adding the burger mixture and cheese layers and top crust... if you do not pre-cook the bottom crust it WILL be soggy or not cooked all the way through good luck and HAPPY baking

    Huge hit

I made this for the kids and they were literally fighting over the last piece. They have asked for it at least 10 times since. I added carmalized onion and 2 cloves of garlic which really incorporated an amazing flavor.

As one other stated, the rolls turned out doughy, even with extra time. the filling was good, and I added vegetables, like onions, green and red peppers, and mushrooms.
