small onion, thinly sliced (about 1/4 cup)
medium carrot, peeled and thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
medium yellow squashor zucchini, sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)
teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
teaspoon garlic salt
Heat the oven to 450°F., or the grill to medium-high.
Place the vegetables in the center of the sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil and sprinkle with the seasonings. Top with the ice cubes and butter.
Bring up the foil sides. Double fold the top and ends to seal, making one large foil packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on a baking sheet in the oven or grill for 15 to 20 minutes in a covered grill.
