    carrot, peeled and chopped (about 1/2 cup)

    stalk celery, sliced (about 1/2 cup)

    ounces (about 1 cup dry) uncooked extra-wide egg noodles

How to Make It

Season the chicken with salt and pepper.  Add the carrot, celery, chicken, noodles and broth to a 6-quart Instant Pot®.   Lock the lid and close the pressure release valve. Pressure cook on High pressure, setting the timer to 5 minutes (timer will begin counting down once pressure is reached- it takes about 15 minutes). When done, press Cancel and use the quick release method to release the pressure. Remove the chicken from the pot.  Shred the chicken and return to the pot.  Season to taste.
Step 1

Lock the lid and close the pressure release valve. Pressure cook on High pressure, setting the timer to 5 minutes (timer will begin counting down once pressure is reached- it takes about 15 minutes). When done, press Cancel and use the quick release method to release the pressure.

Step 3

Remove the chicken from the pot.  Shred the chicken and return to the pot.  Season to taste.

    Super Easy and Tasty

    I made this recipe last night and it was super easy and very tasty. It didn't require specific measuring. I believe I had a little more carrots than what the recipe called for and a little less celery because it was all I had left from Thanksgiving. I actually doubled the recipe because as the measurements stood, it didn't sound like it'd be enough left over for the next day. Boy am I glad that I did because this was really good. Since I doubled it, I increased the cook time to 8 minutes. I just felt like 5 minutes wasn't going to be enough cook time since I doubled it. It turned out very nice and the chicken was tender and juicy. I am so glad I found this recipe.
