How to Make It

Stir the soups in a 2-quart saucepan.  Whisk in the milk and water.  Add the cumin and garlic and cook and stir over medium heat until the mixture is hot.
Serve topped with the avocado, queso fresco and onion.

  • Ingredient Note: Queso fresco is a fresh, non-aged cheese popular throughout Latin America.  Queso fresco is similar to feta cheese, and is usually served crumbled on top of everything from beans to salads, and is also terrific simply served in wedges.
  • Recipe Note: For thinner consistency, you can add an additional 1/4 cup water with the milk in Step 1.
