We used Pepperidge Farm® Harvest Blends™ Seeded Grain bread when we created this recipe. If Harvest Blends™ breads aren't available in your market, try your favorite Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain bread instead.

cup drained rinsed canned white cannellini beans
tablespoon olive oil
tablespoon lemon juice
teaspoon grated lemon zest
tablespoon minced Vidalia onion or other sweet onion
slices Pepperidge Farm® Harvest Blends Seeded Grain Bread or Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread
cup whole fresh basil leaves
Coarsely mash the beans in a medium bowl. Stir in the oil, lemon juice, lemon zest and onion. Season to taste.
Spread the bean mixture on 1 bread slice. Top with the basil and remaining bread slice.
