    pounds sweet Italian pork sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1

    medium green pepper, cut into 2-inch-long strips (about 1 1/2 cups)

  • 1

    medium onion, sliced (about 1/2 cup)

    teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed

    cans (10 1/2 ounces each ) Campbell's® Golden Pork Gravy

  • 2 2/3

    cups cooked penne pasta, drained

  • 1 1/2

    tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

Cook the sausage in a 12-inch skillet until well browned, stirring often.  Stir in the pepper, onion and oregano and cook until the vegetables are tender. Stir the gravy in the skillet and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cook for 5 minutes or until the sausage is cooked through. Add the pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.  Sprinkle with the cheese.

    I use only one jar of gravy and add a bit of garlic. I use hot sausage :)

    Penne with Sausage & Peppers

    I wondered how this would taste; gravy with sausage over pasta. But it was excellent! I added a red pepper along with the green pepper to give it some color. My husband loved it too. I'm definitely going to make this again.
