    ounces (1/2 of a 7-ounce package) sliced pepperoni

    tablespoon olive oil

  • 1

    large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 1/4

    teaspoons dried oregano leaves, crushed

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup

    cups milk

  • 1/4

    cup shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1 1/2

    cups shredded mozzarella cheese(about 6 ounces)

  • 1/4

    teaspoon ground black pepper

    cups shredded boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked

  • 1

    package (1 pound) rotini (spiral) pasta, cooked and drained

    medium tomato, chopped (about 1/2 cup)

How to Make It

Step 1

Reserve 14 slices pepperoni.  Coarsely chop the remaining pepperoni.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat.  Add the onion, garlic and oregano and cook for 5 minutes or until the onion is tender, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Stir the soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and black pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil.  Stir in the chicken, chopped pepperoni, rotini and tomato.  Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook until the mixture is hot.  Sprinkle with the cheese.  Top with the reserved pepperoni slices.  Sprinkle with additional chopped tomato, if desired.

    Different and yummy.

    All 3 of my kids liked it. One wanted more chicken and one wanted more pepperoni. It was easy and good. It was different than the typical Italian pasta dish .

    Wouldn't call it pizza, but it was a hit

    I don't cook often and when I do the less prep the better. Therefore from my point of view this had quite a bit of prep work, especially if you were going to cook and shred the chicken prior to starting - we bought pre-cooked. Once all the ingredients were ready, however the actual cooking was quick and somewhat fun. The ingredients barely fit in our 12 inch skillet, so when covered the lid was kind of just propped on top of the food. I let it 'get hot' a bit over 5 minutes - it was unclear how long to do this last step, and maybe I should have done it longer? We all liked it, taking seconds and 1 'thirds'. The vote was for less chicken and more pepperoni the next time around.
