    boneless beef sirloin steak(about 1 steak), cut into 1-inch cubes

    tablespoon chili powder

  • 3/4

    cup Pace® Picante Sauce - Medium

  • 1

    can (about 15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1

    can (about 15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1

    can (14.5 ounces) stewed tomatoes

How to Make It

Step 1

Stir the cornstarch and water in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and chili powder and cook until the beef is well browned, stirring often.

Step 3

Stir the picante sauce, black beans, pinto beans and tomatoes in the saucepan and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.

Step 4

Stir in the cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens.

    Picante Beef & Beans

    My husband really enjoyed this dish with the Pace picante sauce. I didnt tell him that I used the sauce until after he finished the meal and he was very surprised. He enjoyed this dish very much and he is a picky, picky eater.
