How to Make It

Step 1

Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium.

Step 2

Grill the salmon for 10 minutes or until it flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning the salmon over once halfway through grilling and brushing often with the picante sauce.

Recipe Tips

  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with grilled vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, red pepper and onion in balsamic vinaigrette) and crusty French bread. For dessert, top fresh pineapple slices with brown sugar and grill.

    Picante Grilled Fish

    I added half a bottle of orange marmalade, marinated for an hour then grilled brushing the marinate during the grill time. I served with a 'tropical salsa', has fresh fruit, cilantro and balsamic glaze.
