How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the picante sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, cumin, bacon and beans in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Garnish with the jalapeño pepper, if desired.

    Picante Pinto Beans with Bacon

    Too hot, and too sweet. We cut back on the jalapeno, and the curry, and it was still too hot, and we like a lot of hot dishes.
