How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides.

Step 2

Stir the soup and water in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.

    This is probably the best pork chop recipe I have ever tried. Onion soup is a must. I prefer the onion soup to cream of celery, which was my usual go-to. I seasoned the chops and used sesame oil and added a splash of white wine to the soup and water. Additionally, I simmered the chops covered for 45 minutes. I thought 5 minutes didn't make sense. The chops melted in your mouth.

    Great Recipe

    I have made this several times and my husband & I love it. I do season my chops with quite a bit of Garlic & Onion Powder. I also add pepper & salt. I simmer for about 20 min.

    Pork Chops with Creamy Onion Sauce

    Very simple, and very tasty!! I seasoned the chops with salt and garlic pepper while they browned. Next time I'll add Fried Onions for a little crunch.
