pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves and/or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
tablespoon vegetable oil
medium green pepper, cut into 2-inch-long strips (about 3 cups)
large onion, chopped (about 2 cups)
cloves garlic, minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
jar (24 ounces) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
Season the chicken as desired. Heat the oil in a 6-quart stovetop pressure cooker over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until well browned, stirring often. Stir in the peppers, onions, garlic and sauce.
Close and lock the lid. Bring to full pressure over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for 15 minutes.
Do not open the cooker until the pressure has dropped. Season to taste.
