How to Make It

Beat the cream in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Beat in the jam and almond extract. Stir the sugar and mint in a small bowl. Place the turnovers onto 4 dessert plates. Top with the whipped cream and sprinkle with the mint sugar. Garnish with sprigs of additional mint, if desired.
