    package (17.3 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed

    tablespoons spreadable garlic & herb cheese, softened

    slices prosciuttoor thinly sliced deli ham

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 400°F.  Unfold the pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.  Spread 3 tablespoons cheese on each pastry sheet.  Top each with 4 slices prosciutto. Cut each into 15 strips crosswise, making 30 in all.

Step 2

Tightly wrap 1 pastry strip around each asparagus spear, prosciutto-side in.  Place the pastries seam-side down onto 2 baking sheets.

Step 3

Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.

    An eye pleasing appetizer

    I recommend using a pizza cutter to cut the dough and proscuitto. I started with a knife but it kept bunching it up and the cheese got messy. I also recommend blanching the asparagus first because it came out a little crunchier and dryer than I prefer. With knowing this I know it will be even better next time I make it. Overall it still tasted great and was a fun finger food for my party.
