    stalk celery, coarsely chopped (about 1/2 cup)

    small onion, coarsely chopped (about 1/4 cup)

  • 3

    ounces mushrooms, sliced (about 1 cup)

  • 4

    cups Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing

  • 1/2

    pound bulk pork sausage, cooked and crumbled

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the broth, celery and onion in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Stir in the mushrooms.  Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Step 2

Add the stuffing and sausage to the saucepan and mix lightly.

    Delicious stuffing

    My husband is a picky eater when it comes to stuffing, but this one hit the jack pot with him!!! He loved it. I cooked the vegetables in a spoon of butter, seasoned the sausage with all seasoning and then cooked it as indicated, also added a handful of dried cranberries for extra flavor and color. It was a crowd pleaser!!! It was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be making this dish again and not only for Thanksgiving...
