cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
teaspoons onion powder
teaspoon garlic powder
cup grated Parmesan cheese
pound 85% lean ground turkey
jar (24 ounces) Prego®+ Hidden Super Veggies Traditional Italian Sauce or Prego® Traditional No Sugar Added Italian Sauce
Heat the oven to 400°F. While the oven is heating, mix the egg, bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, Parmesan and water in a large bowl. Add the turkey and mix just until combined (over-mixing will make the meatballs tough). Season with salt and pepper.
Spray a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray. Firmly shape the turkey mixture into 12 (2-inch) meatballs (use about 1/4 cup mixture for each meatball). Place the meatballs onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are done.
While the meatballs are baking, heat the sauce in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat until hot. When the meatballs are done, add to the sauce and stir to coat.
