    boring

I made this recipe with addition I read in the reviews. To me, this recipe just wasn't that great. It definitely needs some sprucing up and more flavor

    Shepherd's Pie Italiano

Come on, you just have to be a little creative here. It's clear that this recipe as it stands will not have a lot of flavor. After you brown the beef, brown the onions, garlic, and a package of sliced mushrooms. Add to the ground beef along with a can of Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup (really, how could Campbell's miss that opportunity?) Then salt and pepper to taste. Spread beef mixture in casserole (10" x 13" x 2) and cover with a bag of shredded Italian blend cheese. Next, spread the drained diced tomatoes over the top of the cheese, followed by the green beans which you have cooked (or use canned.) Top it off with real mashed potatoes that have butter in them. Then brush with egg, sprinkle with salt and pepper and dot with butter. More calories, sure, but great taste, too!

It's a very good recipe. I use corn instead of green beans.
