    Love this recipe!

This is the recipe that my mom used to make her stuffed peppers when I was a kid. I have been trying to find it for a while with no success until now. She did make it a little different (the basic recipe is the same). My mom would always make a bigger batch of the recipe. Then she would put about 4 peppers in a baking dish. Instead of halving the pepper, she took off the top and stuffed them. Afterwards, she would take the rest of the mixture and spoon it in the baking dish around the peppers, then bake in the oven.

    Shortcut Stuffed Peppers

Great time-saving way to fix stuffed peppers. However, they were somewhat bland. The next time I fix them, I'll add a can of tomato sauce and maybe some sauteed onions. But I'll definitely always fix stuffed peppers this way -- no oven heat in this very hot summer!!!
