    ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta

  • 1

    pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips

  • 1

    tablespoon olive oil

  • 2

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 1

    jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Homestyle Alfredo Sauce

  • 6

    ounces baby spinach (about 6 cups)

  • 1 1/2

    tablespoons Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

Cook and drain the fettuccine according to the package directions.  While the fettuccine is cooking, season the chicken as desired.  Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.  Add the garlic and cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in the sauce and heat to a boil.  Add the spinach and cook just until wilted. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat.  Season to taste.  Sprinkle with the cheese and serve hot.

    Wonderful and Delicious

    I made this last night and it was amazing. The kids loved it. It was effortless. I also sprinkled a little chicken bouillon in the sauce.

    Substitution

    Had all the ingredients for the Chicken Florentine Alfredo with Fettuccine, except for the baby spinach. Had just got 10 lbs of fresh asparagus from the farm and used that. (Not the whole 10 lbs!) I added canned mushrooms, as well. It was absolutely scrumptious! We love spinach, too, but the asparagus added a more intense flavor! I will definitely make this again!

    Easy and Tasty Quick Dinner

    I liked this recipe which I used because I had a coupon for the sauce and wanted to try it. It was also perfect because I had all of the ingredients including fresh spinach from a neighbor's garden. The final result was a tasty dinner and it was easy to make. I forgot to add the parmesan cheese at the end but it really wasn't needed anyway. I used some garlic salt with parsley and pepper when cooking the chicken. The chicken seemed underseasoned to me but it got great reviews from my husband who is a picky eater.

    stuffed pasta

    If these are new on the shelves, why don't you have more recipies for it? Using it w/ other pastas, etc., how to use it, do you add stock, milk,etc. I looked all over the internet, and found nothing, so I had to wing my stuffed ravioli. seemed the sauce a bit thick, didn't know what to do w/ it?? Please give us more recipies to use the alfredo sauces.
