    cup plain dry bread crumbs

    small onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)

    egg, beaten

  • 2

    tablespoons water

    tablespoon vegetable oil

How to Make It

Step 1

Thoroughly mix the beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg and water in a medium bowl and shape firmly into 4 (1/2-inch thick) oval patties.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.

Step 3

Add the gravy and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the patties are cooked through.

    Hid a serving, was so good.

    This recipe was easy and made large servings. Like Beachwaves i used Golden Mushroom on the bottom of the pan but poured brown gravy on top which added depth and made a beautiful dark golden brown gravy. I took one serving and Immediately hid it way back in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch. A Hit!

    Dinner Made Easy

    I love the taste and smell of these I make them a often with mash potatoes and a vegetable very easy dinner.

    No Left overs

    I made this tonight for dinner. The only thing that I did different was I added a can of Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup to the bottom of the pan with a splash of water to dilute the soup and then I poured the Campbell's beef gravy on top. I put some away to take to work with me. When I woke up I was told that the dinner was so good that they even ate what I was going to take to work.

    So easy & so good. I also make this into meatballs & add sour cream to the gravy, served over noodles. Add some sauted mushrooms for some extra goodness! None of my local stores carry Campbell's gravy (didn't even know they made it till I found ONE can @ the Dollar Store), so I usually make my own
