    package (10 ounces) sliced mushrooms (about 3 3/4 cups)

  • 1

    bag  (16 ounces) frozen pearl onions

  • 1

    sprig fresh rosemary leaves

  • 2

     pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves and/or thighs, cut into 1-inch strips

  • 1/4

    cup cornstarch

  • 1

    can  (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup

  • 1

    cup  Burgundy or other dry red wine

  • 3

    cups mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes

How to Make It

Step 1

Place the mushrooms, onions, rosemary and chicken into a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.

Step 2

Stir the cornstarch, soup and wine in a small bowl.  Pour over the chicken and vegetables.

Step 3

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours*.  Remove and discard the rosemary.  Serve the chicken mixture with the mashed potatoes.

    This is great with a little help

    I first sautéed the chicken on olive oil until lightly browned. Then added minced garlic and shallots to the slow cooker. Also for a little more flavor add a little more Cabernet wine. My husband was very impressed! Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, it was wonderful! I will definitely make this again!

    This was awful. Pitching it all.

    Bland. Without salt and pepper I wouldn't have eaten it. I'm unsubscribing right now. Ugh.

    Slow Cooker Coq Au Vin

    This was easy to make. I used a fresh chopped onion instead of frozen onions and it was very good. I will make this again.
