I made this and it was delicious, super easy to make and super affordable. I did not have French onion soup in the grocery store (I’m in Canada) but I found onion soup and it works just as fine I think. Cooked all day no hassle at all. This meal is perfect for a family or a busy young adult who doesn’t have time to cook after work, put it in the crockpot in the morning and come home to a meal prepared.
