pounds beef short rib, cut into serving-sized pieces
jar (23.5 ounces) Prego® Farmers' Market Classic Marinara Sauce
cup red wine (try merlot)
bag (16 ounces) fresh or frozen whole baby carrots
large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
cups hot mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles
Season the ribs as desired.
Stir the sauce, wine, carrots and onion in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add the ribs and turn to coat.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until the ribs are fork-tender. Prepare the potatoes during the last hour of the cooking time and serve with the ribs and sauce mixture.
