    large green pepper, cut into 2-inch-long strips (about 2 cups)

    large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)

    pound boneless, skinless chicken thigh

    ounces orzo pasta (about 1 cup), cooked and drained

How to Make It

Stir the broth, garlic, honey, cumin, cinnamon, tomatoes, green pepper, onion and raisins in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add the chicken and turn to coat. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Divide the chicken and sauce among 4 serving bowls. Top each with about 1/2 cup orzo, if desired.

    adding to our favorites!

    YUM!...I used a wee bit more cinnamon and a red pepper as I had that on hand...I just put the orzo in the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients...didn't make any difference that we could tell...I can not understand anyone thinking this dish was bland...it smelled heavenly as it cooked and was just delicious...

    The raisins were a great idea. The rest of the meal was tasteless and flat. I was sorry I spent the money to buy the ingredients.

    Slow Cooker Moroccan-Style Stewed Chicken

    Chicken was tender. I left out green peppers (because I can't stand them). Had good aroma and flavor. Next time I will add more raisins and cinnamon. Served with couscous instead of orzo.
