    slices Pepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Calcium Enriched Bread, cut into cubes

    cups hash brown potatoes

  • 1

    pound maple-flavored ham steak, diced

  • 1

    large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)

    large green pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)

  • 2

    cups shredded Cheddar cheese(about 8 ounces)

    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup

How to Make It

Spray the inside of a 5-quart slow cooker with vegetable cooking spray. Layer half the bread cubes, potatoes, ham, onion, pepper and cheese in the cooker. Repeat the layers. Beat the soup, eggs and milk in a medium bowl with a fork or whisk. Pour over the bread mixture. Press the bread mixture into the soup mixture to coat. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until it's set.

Recipe Tips

  • Tip: For a twist, try Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack cheese instead of the Cheddar.

    Slow Cooker Western Egg Strata

    I did not find this to be runny at all, and it was cooked for 7.5 hours. Will definitely be making this again. It makes a lot, great for a big group or for a Monday morning and be able to have breakfast for a few days so don't have to worry about waking up early enough to cook!

    Slow Cooker Western Egg Strata

    Output was too soggy. I would probably chop up all ingredients in the list but make an omelet instead to obtain the consistency I want. Was able to "save" it by using the contents for a breakfast burrito.
